It isn't among Montgomery County's largest towns, but Ambler is the social, cultural and business center of its neck of the woods. A walkable, tree-lined Main Street has exploded with new businesses that are supported by prominent arts and culture offerings from the Act II Playhouse, Ambler Symphony Orchestra and Ambler Theater. First Thursday and Second Saturday activities, the spring Car Show and fall Oktoberfest are among the many downtown events to bring people together. The transit-oriented community is also home to seven parks and easy access to the Wissahickon Creek.
