Solutions for digital storage of household information, cardiac catheterizations in leg arteries, and a wi-fi enabled smart plug are among the ideas to get some major validation from
Ben Franklin Technology Partners (BFTP) of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
BFTP announced $2,085,000 in funding for 10 companies on Monday. The biggest chunk went to Green Power Technologies, a King of Prussia firm that received $500,000 to commercialize its first generation, wi-fi enabled
smart plug that will allow customers to shut off appliances and other electronic devices at the power source. BFTP
previously invested $250,000 in the company.

AboutOne, LLC (Malvern), $100,000: Online subscription service providing one convenient place to store, share and retrieve important household information (medical records, receipts, photos, etc.).
ClickEquations, Inc. (Conshohocken), $50,000: Creators of software to help businesses manage and improve their pad search advertising.
Essential Medical (Wayne), $250,000: Developing innovative products for use in cardiac catheterizations in leg arteries.
Kerathin, LLC (Swarthmore), $150,000: Medical and home heatlh device firm focused on tools for care of foot disorders, particularly the diabetic population.
Leversense, LLC (Newtown Square), $300,000: Commerciazliation of innovative new methods for in vitro diagnostics using technology licensed from Drexel University.
QLIDA Diagnostics (Philadelphia), $250,000: Develops next-generation biomarker diagnostic tests for life-threatening diseases like cancer and cardiovascular disease.
Spectrum Devices Corporation (Hatfield), $85,000: Designs, manufactures and commercializes high power transisters for RF and microwave communication applications.
vcopious, LLC (Conshohocken), $250,000: Virtual environment software platform that enables companies to connect with global communities to build brands and increase sales.
Versify Solutions, LLC (Chadds Ford), $150,000: Software and services provider for power industry that helps reduce operational costs and improves efficiency.
