New Kensington Community Development Corporation to compliment the East Kensington Neighbors Association's Trenton Avenue Arts Festival. It has turned into something of an annual cultural phenomenon that celebrates the artistic and DIY nature of folks who are powering East Kensington, Fishtown and Port Richmond. Billed as a "gift of love to the city of Philadelphia," the event will celebrate various cultures and groups in an attempt to build strength and agents of change through unity. Hip-hop, rock, folks and children's music is on the agenda, as well as an art zone with installations and workshops and a children's zone that features yoga, instrument construction and mask making. Raffles, food and water are also free.
