In the heart of Center City lies a village-like setting created in the 19th century that still bustles today. Just west of Washington Square is a charming maze of tiny streets, presenting a very livable Philadelphia at its best.
This intimate urban enclave is brought to life through the
Greater Philadelphia Preservation Alliance's "Littlest Streets East of Broad" tour, part of a series of
walking tours that examine the city's architecture and urban charm. We strolled along the tiny alleys and captured some big shots.
Tours run Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sunday through August and continue on the weekends through October.
