PHILLY 3 FOR ALL: Freaky Friday to Network, Incite and Laugh

This new networking series launches to feature designers in fashion, grahpic design, urban planning and more. Meant to complement such initiatives like DesignPhiladelphia, the inaugural session will feature Elissa Bloom, executive director of the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator, and Jay McCarroll, the Philadelphia-based designer and Season One winner of Project Runway. Also enjoy cocktails and DJ Sammy Slice.

It's an all-star lineup of innovative minds for the annual gathering of big-idea sharing and infectious passion for positive change. This year's theme is "Fabric: seams, threads and bits." Locals like Drew Becher, Youngmoo Kim and Gary Steuer will be on hand, in addition to some heavy-hitting national names like Jonathan Jarvis, the guy behind the brilliant short film "The Crisis of Credit Visualized."
