The Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival (PAAFF) is hosting its 8th annual event. Every November, the festival celebrates the Asian American experience through films, discussions with filmmakers, cultural programs and featured guests. This year's special event is with producer and emcee Scott "CHOPS" Jung of Mountain Brothers who created the album
Strength in Numbers, a compilation album with established and aspiring Asian American music artists.

Franklin Square Holiday Festival

Featuring Electrical Spectacle, a special light show, the Franklin Square Holiday Festival is sure to put you in a festive mood! The light extravaganza features over 50,000 lights that illuminate the space alongside holiday classics performed by The Philly POPS. Enjoy a winter beer garden and seasonal food with friends or go shopping at the holiday market. Additional holiday entertainment will include Santa Saturdays, Sing-A-Long Sundays and the Lightning Bolt Holiday Express train. Get toasty at warming stations as you putt around the Philly-themed mini golf course. The Parx Liberty Carousel will also be decked out for the holidays and playing seasonal music.

Celebrating Senegal.. This is an event for the whole family and features traditional West African folk dance and American hiphop with an African bazaar in the theater lobby featuring African American Santa Claus. Tickets did sell out last year, so be sure to get your tickets early!
