Catchafire is the largest online pro bono community in the U.S. and now they're coming to Philadelphia. The organization is "looking to connect with local community leaders to understand the volunteer and nonprofit landscape, culture, and major influences in the area as a first step." They will then invite local organizations to become Founding Member organizations.
Hosted by Impact Hub Philly, part-innovation lab, part-business incubator and part-community center, this event is sure to spark a few ideas.

Love Your Park Fall Service Day

Parks throughout the city
Join the Fairmount Park Conservancy for a citywide park cleanup. You'll be raking leaves, planting trees and bulbs, working on ongoing projects, and prepping parks for the winter. It's a great chance to connect with your community and spend some time outside before temperatures dip.
