On February 22nd, PhilaSoup is kicking off the New Year right with their first dinner of the year. Enjoy some soup and a presentation by Preparatory Charter School teacher Allison Rupert; she will present her project 'Unmasking Grief,' which would create a grief group for the school's students, many of whom have experienced a loss, imprisonment, abandonment and other traumas. Also hear from Christopher Pilla -- his project 'Solar Water Heaters' would create an eight-to-ten week program for students to learn about and build solar water heaters.

Each presenter will go home with money to help fund his or her project. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis. Interested? Apply here. To get your ticket for PhilaSoup, click here.
