Oscar Wilde's life was a fascinating one full of daring and creativity. The Philadelphia Opera's
Oscar seeks to explore the life of the literary genius. The plot chronicles Wilde's trial and imprisonment for the crime of homosexuality after a scandalous love affair with Lord Alfred Douglas. Singer David Daniels will play Wilde with William Burden as Frank Harris, Heidi Stober as Ada Leverson, and Dwayne Croft as Walt Whitman.
