It's no secret that Philadelphia is home to a large and impactful non-profit community. Increasingly, we also know more and more young professionals are living in Philadelphia.
For the last six years,
Young Involved Philadelphia has aimed to connect those two communities. The organization's
Board Prep Program is a comprehensive training program aimed at young professionals seeking service on non-profit boards, showing them what it takes to be effective board members in a six-session series that focuses on strategic planning, legal and ethical responsibility, fundraising, financial management and public policy/advocacy.
Last Tuesday, YIP celebrated another group of Board Prep grads with a matchmaking session at
Field House that included a variety of local nonprofits, and we were there to capture the love.
