Flying Kite's inaugural art exhibition, Transformation 19104, opened on Friday as part of Second Friday on Lancaster Ave. Housed at Flying Kite's new space at 4017 Lancaster -- part of our pilot On the Ground neighborhood engagement program, the exhibit included West Philadelphia artists like brother and sister Gabe and Ellen Tiberino, Bonnie MacAllister (who curated the exhibit), and Sofya Mirvis.

Friday's opening including an impromptu gift of performance from a dozen Belmont Charter Elementary School students, who performed two songs as part of their after-school music program.
