Philly filmmaker Jamie Moffett spoke with Flying Kite on Tuesday for a forthcoming Q&A about his work on various local and international projects. He was excited (and hurried) as he prepared for a trip the next day to Palestine, where he is shooting footage for an documentary called Gospel of Rutba. The film chronicles the return of American peace activists to Iraq, where their lives were saved by locals after they were injured in a car crash
Moffett was among thousands of passengers who never got past the tarmac at
Philadelphia International Airport Wednesday night due to the second round of a daylong snowstorm. It was
reported 1,500 passengers were stranded there overnight and there were more than 170 flight cancellations, but by this morning, operations were hoped to resume normally by noon.
Moffett made good use of the downtime, capturing video from inside the plane and back to the terminal and sharing it with CNN as an iReport.
