What better way to celebrate fall than by going to a fair? The Oval will play host to the Philadelphia County Fair, complete with carnival games, farm animals and a ferris wheel! Plan on coming hungry, because there will be food trucks a'plenty. For the adults, there will be a wine and cider garden provided by
Frecon Farms.
There will be lots of fun for the little ones, too, including face painting, family friendly music by DJ Patty Pat, and an apple cider pressing demonstration by the
Philadelphia Orchard Project. The fun will continue into the night both Friday and Saturday nights with movie screenings. Friday will feature
O Brother, Where Art Thou? (9 p.m.) and Saturday will feature
Hocus Pocus (7 p.m.).

DesignPhiladelphia's 10 year party is something you won't want to miss. The annual festival will celebrate a decade with a special kind of party called PopUpPlace: an experiential benefit and cocktail party. PopUp Place runs from 6 - 8 p.m. with a swanky afterparty running until 11 p.m. in
Bluecadet's grotto-like production studio.

Camden Night Garden: Harvest Table

If you're looking for a way to warm up, head over the bridge. Camden Night Garden is hosting a warm dinner to celebrate the completion of the community-led creation of the largest tablecloth in America. Enjoy warm chili, cornbread and hot cider, and experience the unique illuminated installations and other artwork. Dinner will be served with seatings at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. until the chili is gone.
Harvest Table will take place rain or shine; be sure to RSVP for the 6 and 7 p.m. dinner seatings.
