Head over to Camden for a night that is out of this world! The City of Camden and Connect the Lots is hosting an Intergalactic Block Party featuring music, dance and art. City Hall will be illuminated with lights and projections while an "alien" art installation will appear during the night. Check out the Camden ArtBox which will be transformed into an interplanetary portal. Enjoy live music provided by local youth groups and a DJ. #onthegroundcmd

"Hey, We're Cool" Final Show

In June, comedy group "Hey, We're Cool" will perform their last show. Running on the first Thursday of every month since December 2013, the show features comedians from around the city making you laugh through a variety of performance styles. Think sketch comedy, stand-up, musical acts, improv and more!

Check out the opening reception for the Asian Arts Initiative's Youth Arts Workshop annual exhibition on Friday, June 3rd from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibition is created and curated by students from the workshop. This year's installation, Safe and Sound, explores three rooms of a home: the dining room, living room and bedroom. In these rooms, the participants explored their Asian American experience, intentionally choosing and placing objects in each space. The installation explores the ideas of family, identity, and the perceptions of Asian Americans in American media. #onthegroundphilly
