The Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (PIFA) returns for its third installment entitled, "We Are What We Make." PIFA is a 16-day festival curated by the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. This year's theme explores how humanity is shaped, changed, inspired and challenged by the world we create. The festival kicks off with the opening gala and ends with the PIFA Street Fair. Over 60 events across a variety of genres and art forms will showcase local and international talent. Be sure to check out the installation created by Mimi Lien in the lobby of the Kimmel Center which brings the vision of "We Are What We Make" to life.

StoryUP! is offering a free family show to celebrate the start of playground season! Each month, improv actors will present and create an interactive show based on ideas and stories from children in the audience. Of course, kids will also take part in the performance! The show is recommended for children ages 5 and up.
