We all have stories…about breaking up. After the tears and heartbreak subside, you can only hope you have a good tale to tell. This month’s StorySlam, brought to you by First Person Arts, will provide a stage for those who want to share their five-minute stories of romantic woe, crazy exes and true love lost.

Anti-Valentine’s Day Bar Crawl
Thursday, February 14

Start at St. Stephens Green or London Grill 
$5 gets you a Valentine's Lei and drink specials; proceeds go to Project H.O.M.E.


Fall in love with Fairmount on Valentine’s Day. Head out, single or not, and quench your thirst at nine bars around the neighborhood, including The Belgian Café, The Bishops Collar, and Bridgid’s. Drink specials include $4 beer, $5 wine and $6 cocktails. All participating bars also offer good eats. This event is presented by the Young Friends of Fairmount and Fairmount CDC

InLiquid’s Annual Benefit showcases the region’s highly talented visual artists and a bevy of goodies and gift certificates from local boutiques, restaurants and cultural institutions (check out the full list here). Take home pieces from artists like Meredith Edlow, Sean Martorana, Darla Jackson and Adam Wallacavage. The VIP Preview Party offers a more intimate experience and a chance to pre-bid on auction items.
